Woman charged with murder in random stabbing death of 7-year-old girl

A 48-year-old woman is charged with first-degree murder, accused of stabbing a 7-year-old girl to death on a South Side street Saturday morning. Shavon Gayden, 48, is scheduled for a detention hearing at the Leighton Criminal Courthouse on Monday, according to CPD.
