Peacock’s new TV and movie releases for September 1-7, 2025, include The Paper and Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare.

Thursday, September 4, 2025, see all 10 episodes of The Paper, Season 1, release on Peacock. A spin-off of the popular NBC sitcom The Office, the story follows the professional lives of employees of the Toledo newspaper, The Truth Teller, and its struggling publisher. Domnhall Gleeson, Sabrina Impacciatore, Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Ramona Young, and Tim Key star. Oscar Nuñez, who starred as Oscar Martinez in The Office, reprises his role.

Friday, September 5, 2025, brings Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare to Peacock. A twisted take on the fantasy story Peter Pan, it follows an evil version of the eponymous character, who kidnaps Michael Darling and tries to send him to Neverland. In response, Michael’s sister Wendy mounts a rescue attempt, encountering a twisted version of Tinkerbell — who is addicted to what she believes is fairy dust — along the way.

Also coming out on Peacock this week is Brightburn. This is a horror sci-fi film following Brandon Breyer, a young alien from outer space, who is adopted by a human couple. Things seem normal until the troubled Brandon develops superpowers and begins terrorizing everyone around him.
