Linda Blair’s 22% RT Horror Reboot Gets a Second Chance on Streaming After Flopping at the Box Office

Linda Blair’s return in The Exorcist: Believerwas met with brutal reviews. The film hardly managed to score 22% from critics on Rotten Tomatoes and a 4.8/10 IMDb rating from 48,000 viewers. Yet despite the critical drubbing, the film has found surprising afterlife success on streaming. On Prime Video, for instance, the film has climbed into the Top 10 across Latin America, from Chile and Colombia to Mexico and Peru, while also charting in Central America and the Caribbean. The film even managed to briefly crack the Top 10 on Hotstar’s Tamil catalog in India.
