Limited series offer a unique blend of depth and closure that is much more difficult to come by in movies or multi-season TV shows. Their digestible size and planned endings provide a satisfying completeness, while their longer runtimes allow for more fully explored character depth compared to a standalone movie. However, the very finality that makes limited series unique can also pose a challenge.
