Some sitcom revivals struggle to justify their existence more than others; nostalgia can get viewers through the door, but familiar faces and recycled jokes will only carry a series so far. Fortunately, Scrubs has a more compelling reason to return to Sacred Heart Hospital. The medical comedy not only brings back J.D. (Zach Braff), Turk (Donald Faison), and Elliot (Sarah Chalke), but also explores what happens when the doctors who once struggled to adapt become the ones whose job it is to help somebody else settle down.
