Coronation Street spoiler videos reveal Jodie’s next move as blistering secret explodes

Secrets and lies bubble to the surface in next week’s Coronation Street, with new video clips offing a glimpse of the explosive drama set to come.

Ben Driscoll’s (Aaron McCusker) world implodes in upcoming scenes as he finds out the truth about his father courtesy of mum Maggie (Pauline McLynn), who is forced into spilling the beans after a big slip-up.

The question is: will Ben be able to get his head around the news? And will Maggie be able to explain why she kept shtum all these years?

The Rovers isn’t the only setting in which lies come to light, with scenes at the Chariot Square hotel proving dramatic as Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) quizzes Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) on the events which led to Billy Mayhew’s (Daniel Brocklebank) death.

Will Debbie reveal the truth about Carl (Jonathan Howard) being the one driving the car on that horrific night?

Meanwhile, over at No. 8 Jodie Ramsey (Olivia Frances-brown) continues to scheme her way into David Platt’s (Jack P Shepherd) life.

Sunday April 5

With Maggie having made a reference to someone being his ‘flesh and blood’, Ben is taken aback and proceeds to quiz his mum on what exactly she meant.

Maggie does her best to cover but Ben knows something is awry. When she fails to reveal what though, he threatens to phone Finlay, much to Maggie’s horror as she promises to tell the truth.

Ben is left reeling as the matriarch confirms his dad Alan wasn’t his biological father.

Monday April 6

David pokes fun at Jodie as she prepares to head into work while he gets ready for a movie marathon day, with Avengers Infinity War and Avengers Endgame on the agenda. Good taste in films, David.

Jodie asks him about the Marvel flicks and, intrigued, she decides to phone in sick to work and instead spend the day with David. The question is: will David work out what she’s up to?

Wednesday April 8

While at the Chariot Square Hotel, Summer spots Debbie and proceeds to quiz her on the crash, wanting to know if Carl was the one driving instead of her. Debbie reiterates her previous version of events but as Summer continues to press her, she stays silent.

Will the truth finally out?
