Hearts, lives, and careers are on the line in Emmerdale next week.

Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) is finally faced with the choice between her husband, Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) and her ex, Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough).

Though she seeks advice from Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick), the decision lies with her and her alone to decide what she wants her future to look like.

Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) is still suffering at the hands of Dr. Caitlin Todd (Caroline Harker) and her workplace bullying, though her latest vitriolic explosion is overheard by Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton), who wastes zero time in letting the vicious doctor know she’s clocked her tea.

Worlds collide as Jacob, Kerry and Graham each climb into their cars crackling with raw emotion. As they set off, Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) finds himself in the path of a roaring car, before it tears through him, leaving him bleeding and broken on the floor.

Rhona has been trapped in an emotional tug of war since the resurrection of her dead ex, Graham.

While Rhona has, thus far, remained loyal to Marlon, her attraction to Graham is growing stronger by the day and she turns to best friend, Vanessa for advice on how best to proceed.

Vanessa urges Rhona to be true to herself, and be as transparent as possible to Marlon about her feelings and finally come to a decision as to where her heart lies?

Emotions running incredibly high, Jacob, Kerry and Graham get into their cars. As they set off, an unknowing Cain stands in the middle of a village road, expressing his love to Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb), before he’s ploughed down.

But who was behind the wheel?

Wednesday, April 8

Kyle Winchester (Huey Quinn), terrified, calls the emergency services having found Cain unconscious on the road.

The shaken young lad worries to the operator on the other end of the phone that his dad might be dying.

Is this the end of Cain?

Thursday, April 9 

Jacob is still at the non-existent mercy of the brutal Dr. Caitlin Todd, as her vicious bullying of him continues to increase.

While Jacob has so far kept his work ordeal to himself, when Kerry overhears her berating him, she finds herself fired up by Caitlin’s attitude.

Baring her teeth and making clear that she’s both prepared and happy to take Caitlin on in defence of Jacob, the two ladies go head to head.

Will Kerry’s intervention convince Caitlin to re-think her attitude toward Jacob, or has she just signed his professional death warrant?
