Jon Lindstrom (Joey Armstrong): The casino boss has words of warning for his lover Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli). Will she take his words to heart?

Kenjah McNeil (Madison Montgomery): Madison issues an apology. Does this have to do with treating Derek (Ben Gavin), or does it have to do with her girlfriend Chelsea’s (RhonniRose Mantilla) abduction?

Who’s Going

Days of Our Lives

Karole Foreman (Judge Dabney): Now that Johnny’s trial has come to an end, Foreman’s time on the soap has wrapped.

Timothy Hornor (Adam): Leo’s (Greg Rikaart) annoying roommate during the trial is no longer needed, so this is the end of Hornor’s time on the soap.

David Jite (Bailiff): With Kristen having confessed, the courthouse scenes are no longer the focus, so Jite has finished his current run with the soap.

Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones): On Monday’s episode, Maxie was sent to a hospital in Massachusetts that is better equipped to handle patients who are in a coma, thus allowing her portrayer to begin her break from the show. As previously reported, the actress is relocating to Tennessee and is taking an extended break from the show to get settled there. She is not expected to return to the GH airwaves until 2026.

In Memoriam

Jerry Adler, who served as a stage manager from 1983-85 on Search for Tomorrow and from 1986-92 on Santa Barbara before becoming a successful actor, passed away on August 23 in New York City at the age of 96. Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis, GH; ex-Julia, SB) told Digest, “Jerry was the Broadway show’s know-it-all that knew everything as Broadway’s most respected stage managers during the best of the best on Broadway in its heyday. He saw it all. The best of the best as well as the worst and best. How he ended up as our stage manager in Santa Barbara was just all of our great luck. I knew he knew and would always look to him for advice & approval. If I got the thumbs up from Jerry, I was good to go. Jerry was who we went to for hilarity and grounding. He knew and we knew it.”

In 1993, Adler played Paul House in Woody Allen’s Manhattan Murder Mystery but he was probably best known for his role as Herman “Hesh” Rabkin in The Sopranos. He also played Fire Chief Sidney Feinberg in Rescue Me, Howard Lyman in The Good Wife and again in The Good Fight and many more guest appearances on prime-time series. On Broadway, he began his career behind the scenes, directing a revival of My Fair Lady in 1976 as well as other productions. In 2000, he returned to Broadway as an actor, appearing in Taller Than a Dwarf as Mr. Miller and in 2015, he appeared in Fish in the Dark as Sidney Drexel.
