Season 2 of Apple TV's sleek mystery thriller The Last Thing He Told Me is now entering its back half, and everything has been turned on its head for Hannah (Jennifer Garner), Bailey (Angourie Rice), and Owen (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau). The goal of the series' sophomore outing, set five years after the events of Season 1, was for the family to finally find a way to reunite and outrun their past. Any hopes of that just became nearly impossible in Episode 4, however, with the death of their constant ally, U.S. Marshal Grady Bradford (Augusto Aguilera), and the loss of all the evidence he was collecting. With years of progress undone in an instant, Episode 5, "First-Date Material," will put the parents on a new lead in Houston, while Bailey reaches out to her late mother's best friend.
