We live in the age of movie franchises, many of which follow a continuous storyline over the years. However, we don't always give the same adoration to movies that form unofficial trilogies, those that share similar themes, directors, and maybe even actors, but that aren't related to each other per se. One of the greatest examples of this phenomenon is The Cornetto Trilogy, or the Three Flavours Cornetto, or the Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy. Still lost?
