Not that Michael Jackson has ever really left pop culture at large since, what, as far back as the 1970s? There are so many things good, bad, and in between that have been said about him and his legacy while he was alive and making music, and since his passing in 2009. As for 2026, at the time of writing, he’s in the spotlight again (and perhaps more than usual) thanks to the release of a biopic about his rise within the music world, first as a member of The Jackson 5 and then as a solo artist, simply called Michael.
