Zendaya Reveals Her ‘Favorite Thing’ About Tom Holland’s Spider-Man

Zendaya shared her “favorite thing” about Tom Holland’s Spider-Man in a new interview for Brand New Day. The Euphoria star has featured opposite Holland as MJ across all the MCU Spider-Man films. As Holland gears up to play the web-slinger again in Spider-Man 4, the actress shared her thoughts on the qualities he brings to Peter Parker.

Zendaya has offered a fresh perspective on Tom Holland’s Spider-Man, highlighting the care and heart he brings to Peter Parker.

In a Fandango Big Ticket interview alongside the Spider-Man cast, the Dune star said, “My favorite thing about Tom’s Spider-Man is how Tom handles Spider-Man outside of Spider-Man. So many people connect to this character — to Peter Parker, to Spider-Man. Especially young people, especially children.”

“He’s just handled that weight with such grace,” she explained, adding, “And really loves and cares so much about the character and what the character means to other people.”

Zendaya further noted that what stands out most to her is Holland’s way with young fans. She shared that he learned fast that when he’s with them, he represents Spider-Man and carries the weight of being their hero.

“I just love seeing what and how you carry Spider-Man through your life in real life,” the 29-year-old concluded.

For his part, Tom Holland has echoed the gratitude, saying he’s been equally thankful to have Zendaya by his side through their films together.

“Our business can present very stressful situations,” the Cherry actor said in an Esquire interview recently. “And it’s really nice to have a bedrock of a relationship that will stand the test of time,” he further stated.

“We can support each other in ways that only we can, because only we understand really what it’s like to live this life. I think that is such a luxury, because I just don’t understand how I would be able to have anything like that with anyone else,” he added.

Tom Holland also confirmed his marriage to Zendaya during the interview. The pair will reunite on screen in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which releases in theaters on July 31.
