Timeless and nostalgic all at once, the colour marks its 170th anniversary this year. To celebrate, Hunter has teamed up with B-Corp paint company Lick to create a limited-edition colour-matched shade, so it can now be splashed all over your walls as well as a pair of your favourite boots.
Matching the shade to Hunter’s reimagining of its heritage boots, Green 170 comes in an eggshell finish with black and blue undertones.
Whether it’s spread across boot rooms in an ode to its original form, or used more liberally across kitchens, and dining rooms, the shade is intended to feel ‘grounding and elegant; calming yet quietly uplifting’.
Or, it’ll take you back to shuffling into wellies as a kid (or throwing up on them as a teenager).
Green 170 also pairs well with a palette of other shades from Lick, including White 05, Red 01, Beige 10, Blue 18, and Pink 01 for a more elegant, design-led feel.
