Storm is officially a villain in Marvel's X-Men reboot, and her new design immediately conveys her lethal new powers. Ororo Munroe has always been one of the most overwhelmingly powerful mutants in the entire Marvel Universe. Frequently classified as an Omega-Level mutant, Storm's control over the weather extends to a planetary and even cosmic scale. Her power is so massive that it's intrinsically tied to the biosphere of the Earth itself, which allows her to sense global weather patterns and even the electrical impulses of living beings.
