Let’s face it, living is expensive these days. Sometimes, we want to bury our heads in the sand when it comes to finances. Especially after seeing what they’re charging for a pack of eggs these days.

Didn’t know you needed to sell an organ to whip up an omelette.

And when it comes to energy bills, it feels like the prices are soaring, especially with a cold winter on the horizon. But fear not, we’ve got some money-saving good news from Utility Warehouse

The energy provider is introducing three new fixed tariffs, including an energy-only tariff, in an effort to beat the upcoming price cap increase scheduled for October.

Ofgem recently announced that the price cap on energy will rise in October to £ 1,755, meaning household bills could increase by over £30.

But Utility Warehouse prioritises loyal relations with customers. The Fixed Start is a 12-month tariff available to customers who opt for an energy-only service, priced at £ 1,582 annually, which means a saving of £173 below the price cap.

The Fixed 59 tariff is even more affordable at £1,577 annually for dual-fuel customers and is available to both new and existing customers who agree to the bundling requirements.

The Fixed Saver 59 is also a 12-month fixed-rate energy tariff, and available to customers who bundle energy with at least two other UW services. These may include services such as broadband, mobile, or insurance. This tariff is priced at just £1,572 per year and is considered one of the most affordable fixed tariffs on the market.

Customers can reap even more rewards when they add the Utility Warehouse Cashback Card, which offers 10% cashback every time you spend in-store or online.

Speaking about the new offerings, David Walter, Chief Commercial Officer at UW, says: ‘While other energy suppliers use the price cap as a pricing guide, we do things differently. Utility Warehouse consistently offers energy bills below the price cap when customers bundle with us. And we’re supercharging that today with our new fixed tariffs, including a price-cap-busting energy-only fixed tariff.

‘We have a network of over 70,000 friendly UW Partners across the UK working to help people save on their monthly energy, broadband, mobile, and insurance bills. Before the new price cap kicks in from October, we urge consumers to speak to their local Utility Warehouse Partner to find out how much they could save with us.’
