The Long Walk is more than just the latestStephen King movie to get an adaptation. After decades in development hell, it’s also only the third time that a novel published under King’s pseudonym, Richard Bachman, has been brought to the big screen.The Long Walk will be followed in just two months by Edgar Wright’s adaptation of the Bachman novel The Running Man, which was previously a 1987 film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.
