Yes, there are multiple murders as well as multiple murderers in The Thursday Murder Club. The group began by investigating the murder of Angela, a case from the past, but soon two more murders took place in the present: Tony Curran, a dodgy building contractor, and local businessman Ian Ventham.

Another set of old bones at the top of a coffin in the local graveyard seemingly hinted at yet another murder. At the end, each of these murders was deciphered.

As per the final revelations, Peter Mercer murdered Angela Hughes, Penny Grey murdered Peter Mercer, Bogdan Jankowski murdered Tony Curran, and John Grey murdered Ian Ventham.

Bogdan killed Curran because the latter had brought him as an immigrant worker and was holding his passport. The other three murders were linked to each other.

Peter Mercer killed Angela Hughes. Penny knew this and decided to serve justice herself by murdering Peter. Her husband, John. knew of this and decided to keep the secret. But Ian found out about it, so John ultimately killed him to protect his wife.
