On August 5, 1998, the Borge family living in Tonsberg, Norway, had a daughter, Celine. They might have encouraged her to pursue golf at a very young age because she was already a champion in her teens. At 16, Borge won the Norwegian Junior Championship. She also played in and won the 2016 Irish Girls U18 Open Stroke Play Championship. The 27-year-old was certainly a star in the making.
