Fans of White Collar have enjoyed revisiting Neal Caffrey’s world of charm, cons, and clever FBI deals on Netflix. But the clock is ticking on how long the series will remain on the platform. The stylish crime drama, which originally ran on USA Network from 2009 to 2014, is set to leave Netflix soon.
Here’s everything you need to know about White Collar leaving Netflix and where you can stream it next.
Why is White Collar leaving Netflix and when?
White Collar will reportedly leave Netflix on October 1, 2025.
The reason isn’t tied to low viewership but to licensing agreements. The show is owned by Disney, which struck a deal with Netflix in late 2023 to bring a lineup of Fox, ABC, and FX titles to the streamer. Each show was licensed for a limited 18-month period, and White Collar’s run on Netflix began in April 2024. That means its stay will wrap up in October 2025.
This is part of a broader trend. From June 2025 onwards, both Disney and HBO shows that were temporarily licensed to Netflix began cycling off the service. While this arrangement gave Netflix users access to classics like This Is Us, Reba, and How I Met Your Mother, none of these series were meant to stay long-term.
Once White Collar leaves Netflix, viewers will still have ways to stream it. Because Disney licensed the series non-exclusively, the show will remain available on Hulu and Disney+. Both platforms are expected to be their long-term homes after the Netflix window closes.
The show continues to attract fans more than a decade after it ended. Starring Matt Bomer as con artist Neal Caffrey and Tim DeKay as FBI Agent Peter Burke, the series offered a mix of stylish crime-solving and witty partnership dynamics. The late Willie Garson as Mozzie and Tiffani Thiessen as Elizabeth Burke rounded out the ensemble, making the series a fan favorite in the procedural genre.
