"Leo knows all" is what Tom Hardy got tattooed on his body after he earned his first-ever Oscar nomination, for his performance in The Revenant. Hardy was skeptical, but his illustrious co-star Leonardo DiCaprio was certain. DiCaprio himself went on to win his first Oscar for his performance in the epic Western directed by Alejandro G. Iñarritu. The movie was released during a particularly successful streak for the star — in the 2010s, he also appeared in Inception, Django Unchained, The Great Gatsby, The Wolf of Wall Street, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. These movies have grossed around $3 billion at the worldwide box office. The Revenant was the second-most successful of the lot and was recently re-released in domestic theaters in celebration of its 10th anniversary.
