Adam Levine says he’s returning for The Voice Season 30
Adam Levine confirmed his return for Season 30. The news came right after the finale aired. The rest of the panel for the next season, which is set for fall, is still not announced.
He spoke exclusively with PEOPLE, saying, “I will be back. I’m having so much fun doing it. Since I came back a few seasons ago it’s just been a blast and I’m super happy to keep it going as long as they’ll have me.”
The Voice Season 29 crowned Alexia Jayy as the winner. It was a big moment for her career. She competed as part of Adam Levine’s team. She went up against Lucas West from John Legend’s team, who finished as runner-up. Mikenley Brown and Liv Ciara from Kelly Clarkson’s team also reached the final stage.
In the finale, she performed “Lady Marmalade” and “One and Only” on stage. She also performed “Sunday Morning” as a duet with Adam Levine before the winner was announced. After her win, Jayy confirmed her new single “Rent Free,” set to release on April 15.
The track is produced by Jack Splash and Jim Jonsin. Now Season 30 adds another chapter to Adam Levine’s journey. This will be his 19th season as a coach on the show. He has already won multiple seasons before this.
His record stays consistent over time. He won Season 1 with Javier Colon, Season 5 with Tessanne Chin, and Season 9 with Jordan Smith. His return keeps him active as the show keeps moving forward.
