At some point, we need to sit all the Hollywood movie villains down and explain that when they're hired to do a job, they're the ones who are supposed to do it. Bad guys like Jason Bateman in "Carry-On," Charlize Theron in "The Fate of the Furious" and now Damian Lewis in "The Runner" always insist on kidnapping an innocent person's family and forcing the hero to commit the crime for them, and that's just bad crime.
