The Last of Us Season 3’s cast just got even bigger, with a former DCEU star joining the fold, several other cast members being announced, and several others being promoted.

What DCEU star has joined The Last of Us Season 3’s cast?

According to a new report from Deadline, Patrick Wilson (who starred as Ocean Master in Aquaman) will be joining the upcoming show’s third season. Alongside Wilson, Jason Ritter (Matlock) was also added to the show in an official capacity. Ritter briefly appeared in Season 1 of the show as a Clicker, but will now actually play his own role.

Deadline notes Wilson will play Jerry, Abby’s (Kaitlyn Dever) father, while Ritter will play the role of Hanley, a WLF soldier. Alongside the casting news, Ariela Barer, Tati Gabrielle, and Spencer Lord have all been promoted to series regulars.

Season 3 will once again be based on co-creator Neil Druckmann’s acclaimed video game sequel, The Last of Us Part II. The show stars Pedro Pascal as Joel, Bella Ramsey as Ellie, Gabriel Luna as Tommy Miller, and Rutina Wesley as Maria. The latest season has also welcomed new cast members to the acclaimed horror drama, including Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Young Manzino as Jesse, Isabela Merced as Dina, Ariela Barer as Mel, Tati Gabrielle as Nora, Spencer Lord as Owen, and Danny Ramirez as Manny, with guest star Catherine O’Hara.

The Last of Us Season 3 comes from showrunner Craig Mazin. Mazin co-created the show with Neil Druckmann, though Druckmann has decided to step away from the show. Season 3 will also see Kaytlin Dever and Bella Ramsey reprise their roles as Abby and Ellie.
