The brains behind Smiling Friends andKoala Man is Australian animator Michael Cusack. Aside from making these two shows, he was involved in many other animated hits likeRick and Morty, YOLO, and LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy, to name a few. Now that Smiling Friends announced its end after Season 3, Cusack has another project for those who enjoy his work.
