The Biggest Video Game of All-Time Officially Releases This Month

2026 has been a great year for video games so far, but the big whale with the capability of trumping them all is finally set to be released later this month. When it comes time to decide the Game of the Year at the Game Awards, there will be plenty of games in contention, including the surprise hit, Blood of the Dawnwalker. The game was developed by the same team behind The Witcher 3, which released a new remaster for next-generation consoles at the end of September. One of the biggest gaming disappointments of the year so far has been Marvel’s Wolverine, the new game from Insomniac, the same studio behind all three critically acclaimed Spider-Man games. Going in with high expectations, the release is not expected to be a contender for Game of the Year like all of its web-headed predecessors.
