Oscar-winning production designer Stuart Craig, whose artistry shaped some of the most celebrated films of the last half-century, has died at 83. The news was confirmed by the British Film Designers Guild, with longtime collaborator Neil Lamont remembering Craig as “a true giant” of cinema who left an indelible mark on the craft. Craig passed away September 7 after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease.
