The 2026 FIFA World Cup Final will see a Super Bowl-style halftime show featuring celebrated pop stars. Curated by Coldplay’s Chris Martin, the show aims to raise $100 million for the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund supporting children’s schooling and sports access.

FIFA’s first World Cup Final Halftime Show is building a Super Bowl-size music moment

To be held at the MetLife Stadium at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, N.J., the FIFA World Cup final will witness an eleven-minute event on July 19, featuring BTS, Justin Bieber, Madonna, and Shakira. Additional performances by Burna Boy, the PS22 Chorus, and a special appearance by iconic Sesame Street characters are set to bring fresh energy to the show.

“The FIFA World Cup brings the world together in a way nothing else can. I’m grateful to be part of this Halftime Show, and even more grateful knowing it’s already helping expand access to education for children around the world,” Bieber said in a statement to the media.

Bieber attended the U.S. men’s national team match against Paraguay, while Burna Boy and Shakira captivated audiences in Mexico City with the official World Cup song, “Dai Dai.”

According to a research note, the tournament is projected to deliver a massive economic boost of $5 billion to $6 billion across host nations Canada, Mexico, and the United States.

The Super Bowl halftime show held during the NFL championship has a history of evolving from early college marching bands into a massive pop-culture movement featuring the world’s celebrated stars. Each year, the show attracts over 100 million viewers.
