Ted Danson’s Hilarious Netflix Show Ending With Season 3, Nick Offerman & More Join Cast

The likes of Nick Offerman and more have joined the cast of Ted Danson‘s latest Netflix show. According to the updates, the upcoming comedy TV series will wrap up its run after Season 3.

In a recent report, Netflix confirmed that Season 3 of A Man on the Inside will begin production shortly in San Francisco, California. Offerman will play Jack Spencer in the series. The Emmy Award winner’s notable credits include Margo’s Got Money Troubles, Parks and Recreation, The Last of Us, and more.

As the show concludes after the current season, its creator, Michael Schur, reflected on the journey. He said, “This series began with a retiree taking a chance at a new life. By answering a help wanted ad and venturing out into the world, Charles Nieuwendyk made his world bigger and proved that life only slows down if you let it.”

Schur, who is also the executive producer of the show, added, “We are thrilled to be able to conclude his journey with one final chapter, as embodied by the great Ted Danson, who I am legally required to refer to as a ‘National Treasure!'”

The final season brings new faces into Charles’ latest investigation

Alongside Nick Offerman, several other renowned stars are joining as cast members for the final season. Tony Bernadette Peters is coming as Coco Va; Beck, Emmy Award Nominee Annette O’Toole as Kitt, who is one of Coco’s oldest friends and a fixture in San Francisco high society.

The cast will also include Christopher McDonald as Mark Delaurio, Jessica St. Clair as Chloe, Rachel Dratch as Maud, and Emmy Award Winner Stephen Root as Dave.

The logline of A Man on the Inside Season 3 reads, “Charles (Ted Danson), a retired man, gets a new lease on life when he answers an ad from a PI and becomes a mole in a secret investigation. From creator Mike Schur, A Man on the Inside is based on the documentary The Mole Agent, a 2021 Oscar® nominee for Best Documentary feature.”

Ted Danson, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Lilah Richcreek Estrada, Stephanie Beatriz, Eugene Cordero, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Sally Struthers, and Mary Steenburgen are returning in the final season to reprise their roles.
