2026 has been yet another benchmark year for Taylor Sheridan, who has expanded the Yellowstone universe with new offshoots like Marshals and Dutton Ranch. Fans were also looking forward to the third season of Sheridan’s Landman, but it was recently confirmed that the show would not return until 2027, which was upsetting news for those who were hoping to see the series continue its similar return trajectory. Sheridan is also eyeing a massive return to the world of movies after taking a few years off — his next action film, F.A.S.T., is coming to theaters in May, and it’s already being positioned as a Sicario replacement-style thriller. He’s even teaming with Peter Berg for a new Call of Duty movie at Paramount, but the film isn’t coming to theaters until 2028, so there aren’t many updates right now.
