Sylvester Stallone Faces Terminator 2 Villain in Tulsa King Season 3 Trailer

Paramount+ has revealed the official trailer for Tulsa King Season 3, the highly anticipated next installment of Sylvester Stallone‘s popular crime drama. The show is scheduled to make its return on Sunday, September 21.

What happens in the Tulsa King Season 3 trailer?

The video features Stallone’s Dwight Manfredi as he enters the moonshine business, which will lead him to encounter new and powerful enemies in the form of the Dunmire family. The powerful family is led by Jeremiah Dunmire, portrayed by Terminator 2: Judgement Day star Robert Patrick, who’s being described as “the tyrant of Tulsa.” The trailer also offers fans a first look at Samuel L. Jackson’s guest star appearance as Russell Lee Washington Jr. The Marvel vet is set to lead his own spin-off, NOLA King, which will take place in New Orleans.

“In Season 3, as Dwight’s empire expands, so do his enemies and the risks to his crew,” reads the show’s newest logline. “Now, he faces his most dangerous adversaries in Tulsa yet: the Dunmires, a powerful old-money family that doesn’t play by old-world rules, forcing Dwight to fight for everything he’s built and protect his family.”

Tulsa King is created and executive-produced by Taylor Sheridan. For the third season, executive producer Dave Erickson (Mayor of Kingstown) has been tapped as the new showrunner. The main cast also includes Frank Grillo, Neal McDonough, Max Casella, Martin Starr, Vincent Piazza, Jay Will, Garrett Hedlund, Annabella Sciorra, Tatiana Zapperdino, Chris Caldovino, McKenna Quigley Harrington, Mike Walden, and Dana Delany.

The series is executive produced by Stallone, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, Braden Aftergood, Jim McKay, Sheri Elwood, Ildy Modrovich, and Keith Cox. Since making its debut in 2022, the show has garnered positive reviews from critics. It currently holds an overall Tomatometer rating of 89% on Rotten Tomatoes.
