Sunseekers hit lidos, beaches and parks as spring weather continues to sweep Britain after warmest day of the year

Yesterday was the hottest day of the year so far with the Met Office recording a high of 20.9C at Gogerddan in Wales, while England peaked at 20.2C in London .
