If you’re a Strictly Come Dancing fan, you’ll know about the series’ supposed ‘curse’.

The Strictly curse, as it is known, refers to contestants – who are already in a relationship – who find themselves falling for other participants taking part in Strictly.

Seann Walsh, Stacey Dooley, and many others have found themselves affected by the curse over the years, which has been blamed for ending at least 21 relationships over the show’s two-decade history.

Still, one new dancer is confident their relationship is strong enough to survive a trip to the ballroom.

Dani Dyer, 29, has said she’s not worried at all about having her head turned while away from husband Jarrod Bowen, 28.

‘No! Jarrod’s so chill,’ she told The Sun. ‘We aren’t worried. There is no Strictly Curse. As soon as me and Jarrod met, we just gelled.’

‘We get on so well, and I’ve always wanted to have a nice, chilled and easy relationship.

‘If we have a problem, we talk about it. I can’t be bothered with games, and when I met him, there was none of that. I’m just so glad I got a good prince at the end. Finally!’

Dani also explained how excited she was to be taking part in Strictly, admitting she never thought she’d be asked, but it’s a welcome challenge.

The former Love Islander will be joining a whole host of famous faces when Strictly returns, including Alex Kingston, George Clarke, and Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, among others.

‘On Friday 22 August officers arrested a man in his 30s in east London on suspicion of rape and non-consensual intimate image abuse,’ the Metropolitan Police said in a statement.
