There's no question that Stardew Valley has inspired countless small-time developers in creating unique simulation-style pixel-art games, so much so that it's hard to keep track of these sorts of releases on Steam nowadays. Eric Barone, aka ConcernedApe, famously developed nearly every aspect of Stardew himself, and the game's extraordinary success has become something of a blueprint for solo developers and small indie studios hoping to turn similarly ambitious passion projects into breakout hits.
