Spider-Man: Brand New Day Trailer: Peter Parker Loses His Web-slinging Abilities

The new trailer shows a distressed Peter Parker (Tom Holland) trying to make sense of his every day life without his best friends MJ (Zendaya) and Ned (Jacob Batalon). He also loses his web-slinging abilities for a while and takes help from Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo). He is told that he lost his abilities because he is in transitioning period between two phases of his life.

In one instance, Peter also visits Aunt May at her grave. This emotional moment in the trailer will definitely strike a chord or two when fans watch it. Other instances include MJ and Ned having no memory of Peter and treating him as a friendly next-door neighbour only. Peter also goes through heartbreak, as he notices MJ dating another man and ignoring him.

After the record-breaking global success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Spider-Man: Brand New Day marks an entirely new chapter for Peter Parker and Spider-Man. Despite no one knowing him, he keeps fighting crimes in New York while realising the consequences of having voluntarily erased himself from the lives and memories of those he loves.

The movie is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton. Tom Holland returns as Spider-Man alongside Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Sadie Sink, Jon Bernthal, Mark Ruffalo, Michael Mando and Tramell Tillman in pivotal roles.
