Sinister Emmerdale scenes as Ray takes April away in his car to Dylan’s horror

April Windsor’s (Amelia Flanagan) latest drugs drop for Ray Walters (Joe Absolom) in Emmerdale ended when a young lad approached with a knife in his hand. Terrified, she handed him the drugs and ran off.

A while later, that same teen met up with Ray and was given money by him. It was clear the dealer had organised this event, deliberately to trap April and Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle) into doing more jobs.

But with the teens unaware of this, losing the drugs left them in a panic.

During their meeting with Ray in the woods, April and Dylan nervously confirmed that the wrong person picked the drugs up. Ray delivered quite the performance as he tried to process this news. He then called his ‘boss’ and updated Dylan and April with a plan afterwards.

Ray confirmed that April lost them £2,000 worth of drugs. He said that in order to pay it off, they can just do a few more jobs for him. It was a clever move from Ray as now, both Dylan and April believe they do not have a choice but to do as Ray asks.

In upcoming episodes, April meets a young lad in a carpark, but gets spotted by PC Swirling (Andy Moore). Covering her real intentions, April panics when Swirling offers to give her a lift back to the village.

When Swirling drops April off, Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) is surprised to witness the event. Riddled with guilt, April manages to make excuses, leaving Rhona none the wiser.

Later, Dylan feels nervous when Ray meets him and says that he’s having doubts about April’s ability to keep quiet following her run in with Swirling.

April can’t help but express her frustration towards Dylan – the last thing she wanted was to get involved in Ray’s world. Trying to encourage her, Dylan reminds April of their plans to rent a flat, but the overwhelmed teen rushes out.

The next day, April starts to feel bad as she realises how much faith Dylan has in Ray. They meet with Ray in a layby, determined to talk him round.

However, when they arrive, Dylan is staggered to watch April try and stand up to Ray. She asks when their debt will be wiped, but quickly regrets her move when Ray instructs April – and only April – to get into his car.

Dylan witnesses Ray and April drive off – but what will happen next?
