Morena Baccarin was no stranger to Network television, having starred in all five seasons of the Fox series Gotham. She was aware of the gruelling nature of the job and the sacrifices someone makes to do it as required. And while she wasn't afraid of hard work, she was unwilling to sacrifice her family. “I had told my agent I’m not doing a network show,” the actress admitted in a new interview, previewing her new CBS drama Sheriff Country. “I don’t want to work for 10 months out of the year. It’s going to be shot in a different country. I can’t do this. I have three little kids!” she added. Sheriff Country is a spin-off of Fire Country, and at the urging of her agent, she took a meeting with co-creators Joan Rater and Tony Phelan.
