Secret Lives of Gypsy Wives’ Pearly Girl shares update on jailed partner after admitting him being in prison is ‘hard’

Secret Lives of Gypsy Wives star Pearly Girl Wass has shared a happy update with fans after her fiancé’s release from prison.

Viewers watched Pearly prepare for his homecoming in the final episode of the Channel 4 series.

The 32 -year-old decorated the family home with black and gold balloons, although cameras never showed the moment he arrived.

Now, Pearly Girl has confirmed her fiancé is finally back home.

The final episode of The Secret Lives of Gypsy Wives follows Pearly Girl as she gets everything ready for her fiancé’s return from prison. Earlier in the episode, she joins her sisters, including Trewley Precious, to try on wedding dresses.

With oversized rollers in her hair, Pearly asks the couple’s one year old son Charlie: “Is your daddy coming home?”

It appears that day did arrive.

Pearly Girl shared the update on Instagram, revealing her fiancé has now been released. However, he stayed out of the spotlight.

Posting on her Stories, Pearly shared a photo of the pair enjoying a meal together. Wearing a flat cap, her fiancé covered his face with his heavily tattooed hand.

Throughout The Secret Lives of Gypsy Wives, Pearly openly discusses her partner’s prison sentence. She explains that he went to prison while she was pregnant with their son.

Viewers also see her younger sister Trewley-Precious support her during Thomas’ first birthday celebrations.

“I know today’s going to be hard for Pearly because her partner’s in prison,” Trewley says on the show.

“But we’re strong girls and will get on with it. Pearly will get on with it.”

After the party, she adds: “Pearly has absolutely smashed Thomas’ birthday but, I know deep down behind the scenes, that she’s devastated her partner can’t be here and daddy is not here.”

Pearly Girl also appears alongside her fiancé in an emotional TikTok video she shared in December 2024.

Captioning the clip: “Wishing you were here for our son’s first Christmas,” the montage is set to My All by Mariah Carey.

The video includes moments of the couple at a wedding, relaxing at home and spending time together around Essex.

Fans also catch a glimpse of Pearly Girl’s sparkling engagement ring after her fiancé proposed.

At the time, she wrote: “We cant wait for you to be home.”

One follower replied: “Feeling this, my girl’s first away from her dad. Bring them home! Xx.”

Another commented: “Same situation girl. Hope you had a lovely one x.”

Pearly responded: “Ah it is hard isn’t it! Hope you had a lovely Xmas xxx.”

The Secret Lives of Gypsy Wives premiered on Channel 4 on Monday July 20, 2026. All six episodes were also released on Channel 4’s streaming service, with plenty of fans already binge watching the series.

Trewley is the first person to explain that Pearly Girl’s fiancé is serving a prison sentence.

In the opening episode, Pearly arrives at the family home on a “deprived” council estate in Clacton, Essex.

“Pearly’s partner is currently in prison,” Trewley Precious explains. “But he’s out soon, which is banging.

“It’s been really hard for Pearly. She was pregnant when he went in and she had to raise [Thomas]. She didn’t imagine having a baby on her own.”
