Same Same But Different 2026 Phase 1 Lineup: Tape B, Of The Trees and More

Same Same But Different has shared the first 52 acts set to perform at its 2026 edition at Lake Perris in California.

Same Same But Different is revving its promotional engine to generate interest for this year’s event. The music festival intentionally capped at 7,500 attendees is returning to Lake Perris in Southern California from September 25-27, and organizers have shared the first phase of its lineup in order to spark a conversation.

The Same Same But Different 2026 lineup goes heavy on the bass. Denver artists LSDREAM and Of The Trees appear next to Boca Raton talent Tape B in the biggest font, with Slovenia-born, New York-based act Gramatik billed under them as a special guest. Meanwhile, the undercard features bass music mainstays like Wonkywilla, KLO, and Chef Boyarbeatz b2b CØNTRA.

But by no means is the lineup limited to a single genre. Toronto duo Kasablanca will cater to any techno and house fans in attendance. Those looking to get their jam band fix can look forward to Andy Frasco & The U.N. The eclectic stylings of Casey Club can be expected to cover a wide sonic range. As a whole, all 52 acts announced thus far will help instill the intimate yet unforgettable atmosphere that has come to be the festival’s calling card.

Same Same But Different was started in 2018, initially drawing only a couple hundred or so revelers. Rather than let the festival expand unchecked, its organizers impose limits on its attendance in order to preserve the magic that made it grow more popular.

Last year, Same Same But Different announced its full lineup in August. Once complete, it consisted of 116 official acts.
