Famous writer Salim Khan and Salma Khan whose real name is Sushhila Charak were married in the year 1964. In a recent interview, Salim Khan shared some stories related to his marriage. He said that Salma's father had objections to their marriage because he was worried about Salim's religion. However, he also admitted that Salim comes from a good family and is an educated person. Salim assured him that religion will never come in the way of their relationship and they will have a happy married life. Salim Khan said that his father-in-law was a dentist and belonged to the Dogra community. When it came to marriage, he investigated Salim's family and background. He found everything right, but there was an objection due to religion. On this, Salim explained that there may be differences between husband and wife, but religion will not become a problem in their marriage. He said that it has been 60 years since they got married and both of them have faced every situation of life together.
