Sac Gamers Expo 2025 Welcomes Special Guest Garry Kitchen

Featuring a resume with over 30 years of experience in the gaming space, video game designer, creator, and programmer Garry Kitchen will be a Guest of Honor at Sac Gamers Expo 2025 this December.

Best known for his work at Activision during its early years, Garry Kitchen is a pioneer!

From 1981-1995, Garry Kitchen was an industry leader in the development of home video games, crafting titles for the Atari 2600, Commodore 64, Nintendo Entertainment System, and Super Nintendo Entertainment System. 

On that note, Garry Kitchen’s port of Donkey Kong for the Atari 2600 was a major hit for Coleco – we’re talking over four million copies sold!

Along with his brother Dan Kitchen and David Crane (who will also be at Sac Gamers Expo 2025!), Garry Kitchen founded Audacity Games in 2020 to develop Atari 2600 games like Casey’s Gold to be played on retro consoles. 

The Sac Gamers Expo team will announce new guests every Tuesday and Thursday leading up to December’s event.
