Ruby Rose recently shared a couple of screenshots on Threads from a conversation seemingly with Panettiere in which she spoke about her mother’s ill treatment towards her. The text was about Rose talking to another unidentified individual, where she spoke about their respective parents. Rose wrote, “they did not act or behave like mothers.” The reply reads, “I was sobbing over her cruelty yesterday thinking, my god I’m 36 and she can still cause this kind of pain. I’m her only child left and this is how she wants to handle the situation?!”

Another text from a person saved as “Hayden” on Rose’s phone also showed them mentioning a potential podcast idea (via Entertainment Weekly). The message reads, “I’d love to do a podcast/anothony [sic] Bourdain show where we talk about issues and then go to the ends of the earth to find solutions.”

The screenshots come amid Vogel facing backlash over her initial comments following her daughter’s death. However, she recently released another statement, clarifying her complex bond with her daughter and speaking about her passing. In a statement, Vogel said, “Although my daughter and I were estranged, it was not for lack of care or love. It was due to the involvement of a toxic individual who I believe led to her death.” She described her as a “beautiful and talented young woman” who became involved with the wrong person, whom she claimed the family tried to remove from her life. However, she claims they were unsuccessful (via Entertainment Tonight).

“I hope all remember Hayden for the beautiful human being inside her and her gift to the world from her time on this earth. My heart is with you, Hayden. Mama,” she concluded.
