The zombie genre is a fan favorite when it comes to horror. From classics like Night of the Living Deadand Dawn of the Dead to modern-day iterations like Brad Pitt’s World War Z, Edgar Wright’s Shaun of the Dead, the Zombieland franchise, and Danny Boyle’s 28 Days Later series, the brain-eating monsters have entertained the fandom and then some more. But no franchise or movie comes close to Resident Evil, an IP that has entertained fans worldwide with video games, animated movies, and one of the longest live-action zombie movie franchises.
