What a year it’s been for Rebecca Ferguson, who starred in several big projects during the first half of the year, like Mercy (co-starring Chris Pratt) and The Magic Faraway Tree (co-starring Andrew Garfield). The former may have bombed at the box office under the weight of its bloated $60 million budget, but it went on to become one of the most-watched movies of the year on Prime Video — most fans agree it had the feel of a streaming movie anyway. Ferguson is set to return to the sci-fi genre later this year when she reprises her role as Lady Jessica in Dune: Part Three, which opens in theaters on December 18. However, she has confirmed she will only have one scene in the sequel, a far cry from her leading role fans have become accustomed to in the first two films.
