Reality TV star seals victory in controversial 1,000-mile Alaskan dog sled race amid renewed calls for cancelation of 'cruel' tradition

Jessie Holmes, a former cast member on the National Geographic reality show 'Life Below Zero', guided his dog team across the finish line Tuesday night in the old Gold Rush town of Nome.
