‘Reacher’ Star Alan Ritchson Officially Scores 3 Simultaneous Streaming Hits

With his latest theatrical release having debuted on the PVOD market this past week, Alan Ritchson now has multiple hits charting simultaneously across platforms. Ritchson has emerged as one of the biggest streaming stars of his generation, thanks mainly to the Prime Video action-thriller Reacher. The success of Reacher opened doors for the hulking Ritchson, who was subsequently cast in Fast X in a supporting role. He also found success with the widely praised faith-based drama film Ordinary Angels, starring Hilary Swank. His latest movie, Runner, also targeted the religious demographic, but was designed to appeal to a broader audience. It underperformed at the box office, having grossed around $15 million domestically against a reported budget of $45 million.
