The first-ever PS5 Pro covers are launching today in multiple regions, and they’re selling out within minutes, leaving players frustrated. The console still hasn’t officially received standard covers almost a year after launch. It’s no surprise, then, that the Ghost of Yotei covers are disappearing so fast.
PS5 Pro covers the first Ghost of Yotei accessory to sell out
Ghost of Yotei accessories began going live earlier today in regions like Europe, and it didn’t take long for players to take to social media and gaming forums to vent about missing out on the PS5 Pro covers. The super-limited accessory was unsurprisingly the first to disappear from online storefronts.
Having seen those threads, I decided to check out eBay and — you guessed it — the covers are already listed on the website. While I’m sure some genuine buyers managed to snag the covers, there’s no doubt that a significant portion of the inventory was lifted by scalpers.
Folks in the U.S. should take this as a warning that they need to be super quick if they want these nifty PS5 Pro plates. There are occasions where Sony does restock limited-edition items, but there’s no guarantee that we’ll get lucky with Ghost of Yotei items.
Good luck!
