Sega has launched Project ONSOKU, which features new collaboration songs featuring Hatsune Miku and Sonic the Hedgehog. The company also revealed that it will add the songs to its upcoming video game, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.
The first song published is "Sai Love Jinsei Runner" by Kairiki bear, who also made the album cover in addition to the song's composition. Nou also helped with the song's illustration that features both Miku and Sonic.
Sega also published another trailer detailing the new Project ONSOKU. The trailer revealed that Sega will gradually reveal a new song every week following the grand reveal on Thursday, August 28, 2025. The Japanese press release revealed the following schedule:
September 1, 2025 - "We Are Picopico Hammers!!!!" by Cosmo@Bousou-P September 8, 2025 - "Jet Black" by Yunosuke September 15, 2025 - "Treasure Garden" by Ponchi September 22, 2025 - "Denkou Sekka" by CamelliaSega has been known for working closely with Crypton Future Media to publish Hatsune Miku rhythm games, such as Project Diva and Project Sekai: Colorful Stage. The company also revealed at Summer Game Fest 2025 back in June that it will add Miku as one of the guest characters in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.
Sega will add the new Hatsune Miku Project ONSOKU songs to Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, which will appear worldwide for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on September 25, 2025. A Switch 2 edition of the game will also appear.
