Revenge thrillers have given the action genre some of its most memorable characters, from John Wick’s unstoppable assassin to Liam Neeson’s Bryan Mills in Taken. Prime Video’s latest addition puts a new spin on that familiar formula. It follows a former special forces soldier played by Omar Chaparro (Detective Pikachu) who turns his military experience toward a deeply personal mission. The 103-minute thriller first hit theaters in Mexico earlier this year before making its way to streaming and reaching a much wider audience.
