Prime Video has already had a tremendous start to 2026 with a string of hit series such as Guy Ritchie's Young Sherlock, the Nicole Kidman-led thriller Scarpetta, and the blockbuster video game adaptation Fallout. But this past week, the streamer debuted the latest season of the show that will fuel its viewership for weeks to come. The superhero show in question originally debuted in 2019 and quickly became a cult sensation. Its legion of fans has only grown over the past few years, even though the superhero genre as a whole has hit something of a ceiling. It seems like fans aren't as receptive to by-the-numbers storytelling in the superhero genre anymore, which is great news for the Prime Video series since it has never been one to follow rules.
