Prime Video Officially Revives One of 2025’s Most Overlooked Thrillers

From the director of Deadfall and Cold Hell comes Icefall, an action movie that, funnily enough, has nothing to do with those titles. It has, however, climbed to the top of the Prime Video streaming chart domestically. The movie stars Joel Kinnaman in the lead role, alongside three members of Taylor Sheridan's troupe — Danny Huston, Graham Greene, and Martin Sensmeier. The neo-Western action-thriller, which was likely green-lit following the success of Sheridan's television work, has found great success at home even though it didn't make much of an impact following its PVOD release in 2025. It seems that the film is tapping into Sheridan's vast audience with a combination of Wind River's thrills and John Wick's action.
